When we see a woman with these types of fingernails we instantly think of her as being classy and chic. Why? I guess, for several different reasons. One reason is the fact that well cared for nails are pretty. Another reason is that they seem to indicate they take a lot of work, thereby indicating the woman really cares about her appearance. Finally, if one is smart, it can also be reasoned that the woman is also healthy.
But is it really that hard to take care of our fingernails? Sometimes, it can be hard, especially if we have demanding jobs that put a strain on them.
Are there things we can do to help keep our fingernails looking good without spending a fortune and without the upkeep? The answer to that is both yes and no. You don't have to spend a fortune. But you do have to do a little bit of up keep.

Do dishes with gloves on your hands. Soap and water are hard on the fingernails. This also goes when you are using harsh cleaning agents around the house. Another good tip, wear gloves when gardening to help protect your nails. This can also help keep you from getting bitten by a spider or other type of bug.
You should also try to wear at least clear polish most of the time. It will help strengthen your nails which can help keep them from breaking.
