Nose bleed is a common phenomenon that is seen in adults and children alike. Though a not-so-serious situation, it can be life threatening at times, especially in case of older people. Generally, nose bleeding is the result of a minor injury inside the nose, mainly by nose picking or blowing the nose very hard. The occurrence of nose bleeding is predominant in the winter season, as the upper respiratory infections are more frequent during this time and the temperature and humidity fluctuate more dramatically.
